Principal's Message

Dear Valley View Elementary School Families, Students, and Community,

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I introduce myself as the new principal of Valley View Elementary School. I am honored to join this vibrant learning community and excited to begin this journey with you.

With over 20 years of dedicated service in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), I am proud to serve as an educational leader who is committed to the core values of Academic Excellence, Joy and Wellness, Engagement and Collaboration, Operational Effectiveness, and Investing in Staff. Throughout my career, I have remained steadfast in my belief that every child deserves a safe, supportive, and high-quality educational experience.

My work within LAUSD has deepened my commitment to educational leadership and equity. I have seen firsthand how powerful a school community can be when we work together to ensure that each child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in fostering a collaborative environment where students are inspired to learn, teachers are empowered to teach, and families are valued as essential partners in education.

As we begin this new chapter together, my focus will be on listening, learning, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. I am here to support the continued success of Valley View Elementary while ensuring we maintain a culture of high expectations, respect, inclusion, and joy.

I am very excited to get started and look forward to meeting each of you in the coming weeks. Please know that my door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, questions, and partnership. Together, we will continue to build a school community where every child shines.
