About Us

Valley View Elementary School was established in 1917 and is nestled in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles. Valley View is a small school with a connected, close-knit community. We are a high performing school servicing students in grades TK through 5th. Valley View is a school that draws students from within the neighborhood school boundaries and across the city. Valley View Elementary offers exemplary instructional models to prepare students for academic success as well as a focus school for social emotional learning. Our responsive teaching practices engage educators and families to support the learning outcomes of all learners.

Our Mission

At Valley View, we actively cultivate respectful, supportive relationships among students, teachers, and families. Supportive relationships are the heart of our community. We enable students from diverse backgrounds bring their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into the classroom.
